I’ve seen a lot of music videos, as I’m sure you have, but nothing quite like Decomposition by Orouni.
This gentle slice of pop is laid out into a vibrant scroll of shapes and colours due to the French artist’s synaesthesia. Each hue is represented by a chord like dark blue for A minor and orange for G major thus creating the chromatic diagram featured in the booklet for their “Partitions” album. Each track is represented by a multicoloured drawing and you can learn how to read them along with a corresponding colour chart here.
