January saw the release of the brilliantly named Duets And Stuff (Greta and Raimond) debut, “Serve Somebody”, which has already amassed 24k plays through Soundcloud – impressive for a debut. The Swedish duo has now released their sophomore single titled, Hold On.
Hold On is a minimal and effortless bedroom pop soundtrack with a xylophone that snaps and skitters across a warm breeze of lo-fi percussion and a gauze of hazy guitar strums. Beneath the morning light and its catchy hook is Greta’s melancholic vocals singing, “It’s alright, I’m alright,” with the acrid taste of anxiety, restless and yearnful.
