With a new album soon to be released, Tender Glue (Tom Gluewicki) has released three singles including the previously featured “Rudy” and “You Are Tennessee”. His fourth and final single is Lights Out.
Much like the aforementioned two, Lights Out is lo-fi and was recorded in the closet of his apartment. “Remember how, We used to jump the shades/ Such a joy, In the gravity play,” he sings with a leaden weight that rings out. What separates this from the other singles is the way it trembles and shivers and propels into a candelabra of experiences and moments until it collapses and is extinguished from this frightening world.
