The Regina based Scott Pettigrew teams up with local rapper Doh-Ski for Wintertime in the Queen City.
As the second single from his forthcoming album, Digital Soul, Wintertime in the Queen City blends modern production with live instrumentation. Over the infectious neo-soul instrumental and bluesy guitar, Doh-Ski waxes about his tough upbringing and relationships, specifically the loss of a lover, with Pettigrew’s standout vocals crooning about the fall out and the inevitable bottle. It gets lonely when it’s cold out, but less so with a liquid cure. Destroy yourself, what the fuck.
