Best known as the frontman for AKASE, British singer/songwriter Robbie Redway spent some time in the remote landscape of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall earlier this year to focus on creating his own sound. Following a week-long stint volunteering for the Help Refugees charity in Calais, France, the artist now known as Rondo Mo crafted the powerful The Fear. Over a lush backdrop filled with keys and bubbling colours of hopeful synths, The Fear builds into a frenzy of urgent alarms and biting textures as Redway reflects on the hardships that he experienced first hand.
All proceeds of the single will be donated to Help Refugees ( https://helprefugees.org.uk ), who are carrying out work supplying shelter, food, and provisions to the thousands of homeless refugees throughout Europe. Listen to the poignant single right here.
