Coming out of Nashville, Reed Gaines is an emerging artist that has a taste for simple melodies, catchy hooks, interesting production work, and sandals – hopefully without socks. December saw his debut two-track EP, “Talk”, and he now returns with Eventually.
Like the tension that builds from an early evening to 2am debauchery, Eventually gradually builds with a quiet storm. Sabel lends her haunting vocals as she outlines a night in her life with a plod of bass and background voices swirling like white noise conjuring a melancholic atmosphere. And eventually, the nightmare will be over.
