Following the release of Limbo, Burn, and Yesterday, Berlin/Brussels-based DIY artist Marie Reiter has now released her debut album, Nazareth.
The lead single is New Here and a great introduction for those who have yet to listen to Reiter. Reiter’s vocals are fragile, like a butterfly on muted geraniums as the season ends, and echoes in her signature lo-fi dream pop soundscape. A tender guitar strums, lost beneath a cascade of thick cerulean gauze in a haunting atmosphere that craves a human connection in this lost, desperate, infernal world of ours.
