A year short of releasing his debut album, “Twins”, Toronto-based artist James Wyatt Crosby is already back at it with new music.
Lemonade (No I Never) is an instant hit. Frantic snaps and shimmering notes open with Crosby’s smooth, sweetly breezy voice and gradually swells and billows into a kaleidoscopic dream. “Give me all your lemonade, Don’t you tell me no I never,” sings Crosby as a glass spun piano with looped textures swirl with sweat and echo with delirium as their name and memory fade into the liquid sun.
