I’ve been keeping up with Big Wild since 2014 when I heard one of his first dreamy, down-tempo beat, “To the Left.” Over the years, his style evolved from chill and laid-back to upbeat and dancy. However, although he branched out in new directions, his hip-hop roots still shine through. Big Wild’s latest single, No Words, demonstrates how far he’s come sonically, delivering polished synths, a huge chorus and introspective interludes. It almost reminds me of a cross between Imagine Dragons and Emancipator. If that’s your style, definitely check out this track.
