Already an established and respected backing singer for several prominent acts over the years, it was only this year that Amy Syed would emerge to the front of the stage with her shimmering debut, You Go To My Head. She’s now returned with her new single, Lonely Love.
Recorded in Wales over the summer and co-written by Bruno Major, Lonely Love is a tale of one being rejected and painted out from a dreamy scene of brilliant colours. Turning the given heart into stone and refusing all that is so freely and passionately given, like a fool. Gone are the vibrant hues of emerald and sapphire, replaced with the midas touch of frigid ash. Despite the broken heart that was once endured, the song is spaced-out with an uplifting blossom of beautiful notes and Syed’s soulful chords.
Currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on a new EP, look for more Amy Syed soon.
Edit: Syed released a new video which you can view here.
