As part of Commonminds’ one song a month for 2016 project, Be Fine is the final installment from this rising 17-year old.
Getting his start when he was only nine years old and drawing inspirations from the likes of Tribe, Chance, and Mos Def, Be fine and the accompanying project, XVI.exe, sounds like it belongs to one with more life experience. On Be Fine, the youngin’ waxes with little effort over this soulful throwback cut from Frankis and asks the homies to kick it back, retract, and have his back.
With his tenacity and lyrical prowess, this is only the beginning for Commonminds. Spin the rest of the album through Soundcloud.
