St. Catherines-based Julianna Riolino was raised on her father’s vinyl collection and fuses her classic’s inspired music with her intuitiveness and her connection with spirituality. Be My Man is her debut single as J.R. with a fuzzy charge of late 70’s punk and indie-pop. It’s short and electric as her gritty howl tears through the mast of the sinking ship of her relationship with an abusive partner.
Accompanying the single is a Justis Krar made video featuring assorted vintage shots. Watch it right here.
