Ahead of TUYS’ April 2018 EP release, the Luxembourg quartet has released a video for the second EP single titled, Talk. While there’s a dancefloor bounce to the single, there’s also a brooding underbelly with tense guitar notes and moments of cracked joints from a cleaver. With a gradual build, the band whorls into heavy alt-rock territory with crunching guitars that choke the valley of your veins. “‘Talk’ is about lost thoughts and missed conversations,” explains the band. “You go through your days, through your week, through your life from room to room. The room you are in right now and who you share it with dictates who you are.”
In the accompanying video directed by Raoul Henri & Stephen Korytko from the agency SKIN, TUYS’ performs through a series of conceptual spaces and stages with different scenarios in which conversation is rendered impossible.
