After a quiet 11 months, the North London-based Seaker has returned with a new single and accompanying video for The Waters.
Seaker’s angelic vocals enrapture you from the onset. Powerful and arresting, you’re left frozen in place as she sings over a gradual build-up of glistening synths and the rumble of bass from a tree lined November night. For the mesmerising single and video, Seaker says:
“‘The Waters’ was born out of an uncertain time in my life, where I began to think about things with much more reference to nature and our landscape here on earth. The track is very much influenced by the elements and also on a more primary level is about missing someone or something. I made a visual to go with the track. You’ll see the home-made nature as really it’s more a visual dream-board for people to get a little lost in if they wish.
