Illacuda is a Vancouver-based outfit in the throes of recording their full-length album due for this fall. The first taste of the untitled project comes in the form of the phantasmal Stop Calling where guitars swirl in the shadows of a timeless blue that is separated by stars and the melting rings of Saturn. Drums crash in its own orbit under the rustle of starry chimes as haunting vocals moan from the celestial realm where atoms and lavender dreams collide.
To accompany the single is a video of a woman dreaming, or on drugs, or sleepwalking, and a table of strangers, and the illusive cosmos, and melting wax, or melting stars, or I don’t know. Watch it here. Just stop calling.
