Mackay, Australia-based artist Tia Gostelow has already made quite an impact through Spotify, opening for a handful of well-known bands, and earning a few awards at the Queensland Music Awards. To kick off the year, Gostelow released a new EP titled “Status Anxiety” and from it comes opener Giants.
Dreamy guitars ring along with acoustic strums as Gostelow’s rosy vocals take flight and roll, soar, and ebb while she reminisces about lost youth. Once the rest of the band joins, sunlit and dreaming, with Gostelow’s arresting timbres alongside a quiet swell of rich instruments, it’s impossible not to become enraptured.
