Homesick (Out the Blue) is the latest single from JW Ridley. Written while co-habiting as a property guardian in South London, Ridley used the little space and time he had writing and recording in strangle little rooms when no one was around.
The end result is a hazy swell of indie rock that builds and collapses, rushing and plunging with dense textures. This is unspoken words and the quiet gnawing feelings of things that we grip and seize with skinny iron wrists, whether we know it or not.
