The latest newcomer to hit our radar is the Jamaican born, Toronto based artist Mark Clennon. His first single is the captivating Blood, a future soul R&B song with tropical drums and Clennon’s airy vocals. “All you need is love” he repeats with tempered drums before breaking into the chorus, enshrined by monumental sounds that will have you hitting repeat for days.
Produced by Joey Sherret (The Posterz), the two would meet in Montreal on weekends to build on Clennon’s demoes. Those demos or at least some of them are due August 19 in the form of an EP titled, When The Smoke Clears. Mark it on your calendar.
