Dragos, Jessy, Odile, and Emma are the Quebec City outfit that makes up indie dance outfit Men I Trust. Before they set off for their 2016 tour in China, they recorded the slow burning single, Plain View.
Where Men I Trust’s previous efforts have been more in the upbeat dance spectrum, Plain View has a calming effect with its hypnotic swirl that simmer in the distance. The breath of delicate vocals that repeat, “You and I we are one/ Would you lie with me?” hang in this open space and with it you get lured in and lose track of time as you spiral further into Men I Trust’s ether where you retreat into the depths of your mind and all is at peace.
