Serious Klein Unleashes His Debut Project “You Should’ve Known”

Following the release of Coochie Money and Voodoo Money, German/Ghanian artist Serious Klein dropped his debut album, You Should’ve Known. Self-described as “art rap”, the album features a blend of rap, hip-hop, jazz, and soul infused with religious imagery and the pursuit and temptation of money, women, and fame.

Between the array of sounds and vibes is Klein switching between fierce gatling gun bars like on “91 Flex” to singing on the slow and early morning sunlit “Thought I Let You Know”, culminating in a dynamic and promising debut

Speaking on the album, Klein says: “‘You Should’ve Known’ is a project about my reality. About the battle with losses and the enemy of your inner self, fame, fortune, highs, lows, money, women, faith & God. It tells the story of the last three years of my life.”
